Opening the evening, the young and vibrant rock roll band, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown from Nashville, Tennessee pouring out an energetic performance as the arena began filling up in anticipation of Guns N' Roses. Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, who has tour with AC/DC, Aerosmith and other contemporaries like Rival Sons is a rising star band on their own. Keep your eyes on this boys, they are going places!! That being said, by 8:15 pm the arena was packed and ready for Guns N' Roses to enter the stage.

Believe it or not, Guns N' Roses started promptly at 8:30 pm (Guns N' Roses were notorious in the past for being late onstage, sometimes as much as three hours).

GNR opened with It's "So Easy" and "Mr. Brownstone" off their debut album, Appetite For Destruction (1987). Talk about a crowd pleaser! Other songs from their chart busting LP album included" Rocket Queen", "Shadow Of Your Love", "Sweet Child O'Mine", "Nightrain" and their closure "Paradise City" (encore).

With a two plus performance, Guns had a large selection of tunes to choose from such as "Double Talkin' Jive", "November Rain", "Don't You Cry" (encore) off their Use Your Illusion I (1991) album and also, for the first time in 26 years, they performed the song "Dead Horse" to a very surprised audience.

Other songs from Guns N' Roses Use Your Illusion II (1991) album included "Estranged", "You Could Be Mine", "Civil Wa"r and" Locomotive" kept the audience on their feet. You cannot go to a Guns N' Roses concert without hearing some of their new music from their latest album, Chinese Democracy (2008). GNR included six cover songs in their set list that including "Live and Let Die" (Wings), "Slither" (Velvet Revolver), "Wichita Lineman" (Jimmy Webb)," Knockin' On Heaven's Door" (Bob Dylan) and "The Seeker" (The Who).

The band played for two-and-half hours to a packed arena with the only one malfunction, that being when Axl Rose sat behind the piano for the song "November Rain", which caused the band to play the cover song, "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" as the stage crew had the piano re-hooked!

Guns N' Roses closed the evening with a three song encore beginning with "Don't Cry", then "The Seeker" and finally closing with the band's classic song, "Paradise City". Another great performance by one of rock and rolls most notorious bands to burst out of the mid eighties.
