The Japanese hard rock ensemble hit the Los Angeles leg of their tour last Saturday and the fans loved every single second of this sold out show. They open with "Sense" and from the first riff, the crowd ignited. They kept it going with "Real Existence", "Play" and one of my favorite numbers "Freedom", I'm biased with cool drum leads. The packed house at the Belasco Theater enjoyed the 18 songs that were on the set list this evening, and it must be said, this Live Nation venue has such great sound and the light design, it made for an incredible show. Each song was on spotm sound and vision.
Band-Maid consist of an all-girl line up, a Japanese hard rock band that has been together since 2013, and the first thing you notice is their outfit. Their look is based on the famous maid-Cafes in Japan, but dont let that distract you. The fact that they have an outstanding sound and stage production, this band has MEGA talent. Even if you are not into the Kawaii-Anime world, you would appreciate watching these exceptional musicians shine. The execution throughout the whole performance was impeccable.
Band-Maid is performing at House of Blues next Friday, October 21st in Dallas, Texas. Doors open at 7:00 pm and show starts at 8:00 sharp, so do not be late.
Big thanks to Live Nation, Band-Maid Management and the Belasco Theater for allowing JAM Magazine to cover this extraordinary event!
