What an epic Saturday night at The Rail Club Live! in Fort Worth Texas! The crowd was full of local celebrities and the atmosphere had a feel of electric vibration that was in itself intoxicating. The DFW music lovers were there to see the legendary metal band from Austin Texas, Dangerous Toys!
These guys delivered a dynamic set that was reminiscent of an 80s hair metal band that could be compared to the likes of Guns and Roses or Motley Crue. As a matter of fact, Dangerous Toys were discovered in Austin at SXSW in the late 80s.
After several decades of success and a long break from touring, they are back in the saddle loud and proud. There was a moment when I gazed out at the packed house and I saw the bodies swaying to a trance like groove that felt a heavy metal waterfall.
You cant ignore the local support from all the talented bands that sold tickets and brought their fans and friends through the door. American Sons, Little Green Men, And DFW super group, Lowside with members of Damage Plan, Lillian Axe, and the Joey C. Jones Band.
Thanks and recognition to The Rail Club Live! and all the dedication from the owners and staff for continuing to bring class acts to Fort Worth. Look for great things to come this Spring at The Rail Club Live!
