Kansas City Power Trio Hammers Aurora
Danielle Nicole Band The Venue Aurora, IL November 17, 2022 Photo by David Haig

This Kansas City based trio is one of the hottest bands on the road today featuring on bass and vocals Danielle Nicole who's vocal style is truly rooted in the passion of Janis Joplin and the power and clarity of Ann Wilson. When Danielle takes the stage and gets behind the microphone you are in for a experience that can only leave you begging for more. The other side of the stage is guitarist extraordinaire Brandon Miller who's gritty straight forward Gibson Les Paul just fuels the the hard driving beat from Danielle's bass and drummer Go Go Ray cranking it out the entire evening song after song. Brandon Miller opened the evening with material featured off his latest solo album VIRTUE AND VICE that was pure kick ass from this truly accomplished player and his material gave those in attendance at The Venue in Aurora an insight of what was to come when Danielle took the stage.

Danielle Nicole just blew the roof off with much of her newer material off her CRY NO MORE 2018 album on the Concord Records label such as SAVE ME, CRY NO MORE, BOBBY, HOW COME YOU DON'T CALL ME ANYMORE, and two tunes off this LP that they perform with the intensity of Led Zeppelin SAVE ME and PUSHER MAN that hit the crowd between the eyes hard. I don't know what is in the water in Kansas City but that town is pumping out some real talent ready for the big stage and big tours without a doubt. Go Go Ray a veteran member of the Samantha Fish band also rooted in Kansas City certainly the foundation of the power of the Danielle Nicole band this tour, amazing player.

One of the things of notice that added spice to an already red hot evening with this band is the electric smile and pure joy Danielle projects throughout the evening just pouring her soul into every lyric of every song raising the audience along with her to a climax of musical sensation worthy of any female vocalists of legend in previous generations, this lady is dynamic on stage and this band is certainly a must see act that makes you realize immediately that Rock is Alive and Well in the USA.
