The Shinedown Planet Zero World Tour made a stop in Irving Texas last Friday, at the Toyota Music Factory Pavilion. The production consisted of a stage on top of a stage with a huge video screen, pyro, and a furnace of billowing flames. The Planet Zero tour is by far Shinedowns largest stage productio, since they began back in 2001. The band has gained enormous popularity since their humble beginnings back in 2001 but have brought their touring act to new levels. All this is contributed to 16 Billboard top 100 hits and continuous engagement through their social media. What was once an opening act or headlining House of Blue band is now number 1 on Billboard's top album sales "Planet Zero". Lead singer Brent Smith always brings the crowd home with a feel-good sermon of love, peace, and Rock N Roll vibe and Irving fans got their fill of the bands energy on a cool Friday night.
Contributing to the sold-out show Friday was Tennessee rapper/rock/country artist Jelly Roll.
Jelly is not only on tour with Shinedown but he was also celebrating his return to the Toyota Music factory where he had his first sold-out pavilion event earlier this year. Jelly came out with all smiles and the house camera captured all the radiant grinning for the fans. He reminded the crowd that they had supported him and catapulted his career to where he is today and received BIG CHEERS from the crowd on hand. In celebration, his wife and daughter flew in for the Dallas show and greeted the fans on stage to a warm reception. If you haven't seen a Jelly Roll show it's one to certainly look out for.
