Straight Up Rock N' Roll
Straight Up Rock N' Roll by Michael Insuaste

Dorothy have been around since 2014 with two full length LPs and a handful of singles under their belt. A young hippiesque band that has been opening for Greta Van Fleet since the beginning of their 2018 US tour! They fit in well and are being well received by the fans.

Their 50 minute set included a combination of songs from both their albums and individual singles. The third number of the night was "Raise Hell" from their debut album ROCKISDEAD. And by the crowd response a familiar song as you could hear audience participation throughout the venue.

Highly promoting their second release, 28 Days In The Valley, Dorothy leaned heavily on that album finishing with "Philadelphia" "Who Do You Love" "Flawless" the first song off the LP, and closing with "Freedom" which I must say kept the audience captivated till the end of their set.

Other band members include; drummer Jason Ganberg, guitarists Owen Barry and Eli Wulfmeier, and bassist Eliot Lorango. A perfect fit that goes well with a hot new act like Greta Van Fleet. If you are fortunate enough to have tickets to one of the GVF upcoming shows, make sure and get there to catch, hear and FEEL the magic of DOROTHY!
