Local Musicians from Dallas Texas grouped together for a one night only performance to pay tribute to the music of Pink Floyd at the Kessler Theater.
We heard songs from the early years such as "Bike" performed in the first set by players Paul Slavens on keys and Earl Darling on drums. The second set was a different group who performed the hits "Run" and "Another Brick In The Wall", featuring female vocalist Amy Curnow.
In the third and final set of the evening we were amazed by a flawless rendition of "Wish You Were Here". This cast consisted of members from the popular band "Polyphonic Spree" such as Tim Delaughter for vocals and Bryan Wakeland on drums. At the end of the extended tune the entire cast came out and joined in with additional vocals before everyone took a bow.
The Kessler is known for its tremendous sound quality and for this amazing show it did not disappoint. Equipped with psychedelic video and laser lights, the stage was alive with music of all the decades of hits for all Pink Floyd fans.
